Pherin-M Eye Drops

Composition: Chlorpheniramine Maleate 0.2%, Phenylepherine HCl 0.12%, HPMC 0.02%
Phenyl mercuric Nitrate

Packaging: 10 ml

The benefits of Pherin-M Eye Drops at a glance:

Chlorpheniramine is a histamine H1 receptor antagonist used in the prevention of the symptoms of allergic conditions. It also possesses mild anti-muscarinic action.

HPMC is visco-elastic so when it is administered into the eye it exerts film over the eye which facilitates the vitreous fluid to exert iso-osmotic pressure and flattened the swelling of the eye in case of dry eye & bacterial, viral conjunctivitis.

Phenylephrine Hydrochloride is an α-1 adrenergic agonist drug that is used in ophthalmology mainly for its mydriatic effect. After topical application to the conjunctiva, phenylephrine acts directly on α-adrenergic receptors in the eye, producing contraction of the dilator muscle of the pupil and constriction of the arterioles in the conjunctiva.

The benefits of Pherin-M Eye Drops at a glance:

Temporary relief of discomfort and congestion occurring with minor eye irritation due to hay fever, dust, smoke, smog, colds, wind, sun, and swimming

Provides relief in allergic conjunctivitis, ocular itching, redness and tearing.
